“The moment you feel like you have to prove your worth to someone is the moment to absolutely and utterly walk away.”
I’ve had many instances in my life where I have felt that I needed to prove myself to be worthy. I did it for 5 years with MGM Resorts International and even more times than I can count in the last 8 years throughout my entrepreneurship journey.
A memory came up the other day from 2017 when I was so upset at getting my 32 rejected application/interview from MGM.
Back then I put so much of my self-worth into how far I could make it in that company…
Fast forward to today I feel like a total savage. I know what I bring to the table, so trust me when I say I’m not afraid to eat alone.
This year, I’ve grown a lot and put a big focus on my inner work and personal development.
I’ve learned how to draw boundaries, love myself, and have gotten extremely clear on my direction and purpose in life.
So I set goals, implement systems, and go after what I want no matter who thinks I can or can’t achieve it.
Don’t ever let the doubters, nay-sayers, or haters shove you into the box. Just get out of your head, get out of your own way, and make shit happen!
